Martin is Associate Director of Business Development at the University of the Built Environment, with over 20 years’ experience across further and higher education. He has extensive experience supporting clients across the built environment, with particular expertise in cost management, construction, design and building control. His role at University of the Built Environment takes him nationally and internationally, developing and nurturing client relationships and opportunities across Europe and the Americas. Over the past 11 years Martin has played a significant role in developing apprenticeship opportunities that have enabled thousands of young people to enter professional careers across the built environment, particularly within professional services. His current activity focuses on supporting international clients to develop the talent and capability required to meet the future workforce needs of major infrastructure and investment programmes helping organisations build sustainable talent pipelines aligned to their long-term strategic objectives.
